You may have access to several of your medical documents/records digitally. Other documents may be requested from your hospital through an official request sent by post. You can download our guide explaining how to obtain your medical documents/records here:
We need the following documents: 1. recent discharge summaries from your treating hospital 2. descriptions of CT/MR images (from radiology) 3. blood tests including tumor markers (if taken) 4. histological report and/or genetic analysis (from pathology) 5. other evaluations and/or reports made regarding diagnosis or treatment
We prefer that you upload relevant medical documents digitally in our secure platform Health Book. If it is more convenient for you, you can also send us your medical documents by regular mail. Your patient coordinator will assist you in collecting medical documents and sending your medical documents to us.

Creating a personalized biomedical report requires time and resources, and the time spent on each report will vary from case to case. In your first call with us, our patient coordinator will identify your needs. Following the call, our team will make an estimate of when the report is expected to be ready for dispatch. We usually aim for 2-3 weeks from receiving all your medical records until the report is finalized.
The main report, which is intended to be shared with your doctor, will be written in English. Because the content of the report is complex and intended for your doctor, we will also prepare a patient-friendly summary of the report for you. For Norwegian patients, the summary will be in Norwegian. Communication with us and the presentation of the report can be in either English or Norwegian. The choice is yours.
If your doctor wishes to receive the report from us and you agree to share the report, we can send it directly to your doctor. In order for us to send the report, you will need to provide us with the contact details of your doctor/medical office. We will write a cover letter to your doctor to explain how the report is intended to be used. We can also discuss the report with your doctor or he/she can participate in the presentation of the report.
